About you
- A passion for the AV industry and a love for events.
- Assisting with the Setup and pack down of audio, video or lighting equipment.
- Great people skills.
- Ability to work individually and as a team.
- Assisting with load in & outs on events .
- loading and unloading trucks & vehicles.
- Assisting with the Setup and pack down of audio, video or lighting equipment.
- Previous experience not essential but desirable. On the job training can be offered for those looking to entering the industry.
- Willing to work during event hours which can be evening and weekends and throughout Australia. Some travel may be involved.

MELBOURNE - Technical Director
Location: Braeside, VIC
Type: Permanent Full Time
About You
2 + years of experience in a Technical Director role within the Events/AV Industry is a must. Experience across both Corporate and Touring would give you an edge above the rest.
Essential Skills
- Onsite team management experience, leading technicians onsite teams of 3-20.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Personable & approachable team player.
- Ability to coordinate and complete jobs with minimal supervision.
- Ability to coordinate installation works according to drawings/schematics
- Physical dexterity.
- Network and streaming experience.
- Sound problem-solving skills, technical problem solving and practical problem solving is a must.
- Advanced experience with a range of LED processing products, eVision, Brompton, and Novastar advantageous.
- Experience using CAD related software such AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Visio will be essential.
- Intermediate- advanced understanding of video systems, including but not limited to LED processing.
- Understanding and experience in entertainment rigging and LED Screen specific rigging.
- General AV experience.
Desirable Experience, Licences or Skills
- Intermediate Rigging Ticket.
- Knowledge of Barco E2 and vision switching systems.
- Broadcast camera systems experience.
- WWC check.
